​How to help
LEAF is in need of volunteers to help host workshops and after-school programs. Many schools in Washoe County do not offer programming as a part of their curriculum, we would like to help.

Rewarding Scientific Interest
Children who do not have the option to work with our volunteers at their school are able to request a 3D printout of their model, which will be delivered for display at their school.
Science Fairs
As part of the University of NV College of Engineering, we send our volunteers to local Science Fairs with a variety of different projects.
​Latest project
​
We are currently training volunteers every Friday afternoon to participate in outreach programs to local high schools and middle schools. Volunteers will be trained in the curriculum of their choice and linked up with an outreach program with a local school.
